Something New

Okay so its been a while since I've blogged! I am now married and had the most perfect wedding ever! Everything was a dream that came true, it was so beautiful and fun. Thanks to everyone who came it means a lot to us.

We had a great honeymoon too, I think honeymoons should be every year! :) We got the chance to see the jungles of Jamaica and to go swim with the sting rays (they are soooo cool) that will be my next on the pet adoption list. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed our time away from reality!

Now that we have been married a little over 3 months we have had the time to settle in and get in to a routine. John got a job at the American Arbitration Association as a case manager, he is really enjoying it! I am very happy for him. He has enrolled into the PHD program at UTA for next fall. We have a lot of great things in store for us.

We just became members at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill this past Sunday and I will be getting baptized in October while my brother is on leave from the Navy. We really enjoy Hillcrest and are excited for the fun times ahead!!

Also my Bestie Stefanie just got engaged to her Noah!! We are thrilled!! I am so excited for them, I will be her matron of honor!!! 9/10/11 will be the Beautiful day when they say I DO! Can not wait!! I love you guys.

Its so very close

Well, its getting super close now!! 146 hours, yes I am counting down the hours now because that is just what a girl like me does!! So I have been getting all my last minute beauty things done this week it has been interesting! I had my roots done on Tuesday, been tanning, bleaching my teeth but nothing I mean NOTHING will be as painful as what I did today. I wont get in to detail but it involved wax and made me cry!! I still need to get my mani/pedi but am waiting for the day before the wedding so I can do it with my MOH and mom and flower girl :) Other than that I think I am ready Beauty wise.

Anthony's bachelor party is tomorrow, and is a sun up to sun down thing!! Frisbee golf and pancakes in the morning to cooking out in the evening and from there who knows!! Just as long as he gets home in one piece! I'm having my party too, dinner and girlie movies, keeping it low key will be nice. I just cant believe I will be Mrs. John DeLeon in less than a week!! Where did time go? I now know what people mean when time flys by once your older, its insane! I feel so old.

Anthony had a weird sound in his truck yesterday so he took it to get looked at at the Lincoln dealership and ended up needing a rental so Lincoln gave him a Towncar!! He looked so funny in it, but the funniest part is that the trunk was HUGE, so he took a pic of me in it!

But is still was too big!! So we added my mom, Mandy and Hayden :)

It was even big enough for Anthony!

So I guess this is what people do when they are either

A) Bored

B) Small

C) Broke because they have been spending money here and there for a wedding

D) ALL OF THE ABOVE!!!

Licensed to Wed

First off I am SO OVER Jon and Kate, DONE! I just wanted to let you know.

Today we went to the courthouse/records building to get our marriage license, it was so fun!! In the parking garage I wanted to get a pic of us before we got it because I need pics of all my "firsts" so we see a couple talking and ask them if they could please take it, they were soooo nice!! They wanted to make sure we wanted to have it taken in the garage, I said why not, I have NO make-up and Anthony is in gym clothes so it didn't really matter. The lady asked to hold our documents so they wouldn't be in the picture, and Anthony was a bit hesitant at first considering it was both our passports and such, but she looked very trustworthy for some reason, turns out as we were done with the pics she said, here let me give you my card in case you ever need anything, I am thinking WHAT??!! Is she a divorce lawyer or something, but she is actually on the Dallas City council, so now we have her info if something is bugging me!! :)

We were both very excited to get to the marriage license floor and were very happy, too bad the lady hated her job with a passion!! Josh and Melissa I need this this and that, in a VERY rude way, I really wanted to tell her it is John not Josh but I was just over her. I just figured she must hate men or her babys daddy isn't paying her on time. Oh well we ended up getting the license, were ready to go!

My very first time

This is it, I have never done a bloggy thing but I want to start, I'm about to change my life so I thought I could blog it so others can learn all the new things that are in store for me! I have 8 days and 20 mins before I marry the man of my dreams, well he is really more than what I dreamed of! He is AMAZING and I feel too blessed to have someone this good to me. I can not wait!! Although I am very excited I am also already getting sad because the sooner the wedding gets here the sooner it will be over, this is my one and only day to do this! Its not like Christmas that comes every year, I am only doing this ONCE!! I am glad to know that after June 5 we will have our lives back and not have to do all this wedding planning stuff! Since the day I got engaged to now my life has done a complete turn around, my parents getting divorced (after 27 years) my brother having going to the Navy, having a baby and getting married to a whole lotta other drama! I am just ready to come home to my almost husband and do married things, like build our new house, cook him dinner and wash his clothes :) So I think this is okay for my first blog, hope so!!
